From opera to hotel
The hotel is one of Oslo's most famous buildings, and one of Norway's only Art Deco buildings. It was designed in the 1930s, inspired by the Empire State Building in New York, and became known locally as the "skyscraper". Folketeateret opened two decades later and served as the city's opera house, until the new one opened in 2008.
Meeting rooms
At Clarion Collection Hotel Folketeateret, we have two meeting rooms, both excellently suited to smaller meetings for up to 8 people. We also cooperate with Stratos, who have meeting facilities for up to 300 people.
